Fashion For Freedom is a biennial event presented by Poiema Productions with all proceeds going towards A21. Each Gala is a fabulous evening that includes our Fashion Design Competition, entertainment, delicious food and drinks, and much more... all for a great cause.
The Cause
A21 is a nonprofit organization fuelled by radical hope that human beings everywhere will be rescued from bondage and completely restored. They work with you to free slaves and disrupt the demand. Slavery is often talked about in numbers ; Millions of slaves, a $150 billion industry, 1% ever rescued.
Those statistics are daunting—and they lose the human element. The heart of A21 is the one. The one woman, the one man, the one child trapped and exploited, unable to see another end to their story. They focus on seeing the one, and they fight for the one, and they sacrifice to restore the one… to give them freedom and independence and the chance at a better story. Freedom is their goal for every human being on the planet.
