Fashion For Freedom 2016
Thank you to everyone who was a part of making our 3rd Fashion For Freedom such a success. This time around, we chose the Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, who are helping with the settlement of refugees and other newcomers in our city. Thanks to silent auction, ticket sales, direct donations, and our sponsors, we were able to raise $5186.39 for the charity.
It was an exciting atmosphere as the guests poured in to enjoy a night of innovative fashion, food, and entertainment. With EMCN as our chosen charity, the designers were given the theme of 'Around the World', choosing a country to inspire their designs. We were blown away by the amazing pieces walking down the runway. The winning designer, Trisha Pasnak, took home a $1000 travel voucher for anywhere in the world, donated by Shirley's Travel and FFF.
